Gracie got in trouble earlier today, so I sent her to time-out. Gwynie usually follows her over there and thinks it time to play. This time I told Gracie to face the wall so Gwynie would realize that it's not play time. Well, i guess she thought Gracie was playing a game anyway, so she joined in. I was able to snap this picture before they saw me. I had to try SO hard not to laugh out loud!

Mother of the Year - I'm Not!!
Okay...this is probably going to officially take me out of "Mother of the Year" contention, but I just had to share.

Let the Craziness Begin...
It's official...our house in on the market!!! I have mixed emotions. I am excited to look for our new house, but I am not real excited about showing this one...it's a lot of work. Plus, I will REALLY miss this house! We will see how it goes. We sold our house in Amarillo in just 8 days, but it took us 6 LONG months to sell in The Woodlands. I pray that this one doesn't drag out. I will keep you updated on the progress. Please keep us in your prayers!

Scrapbook Weekend
This past weekend a friend hosted a scrapbook weekend at her house. Lance was sweet enough to take the girls to Amarillo so I could spend 3 days scrapbooking. It was a lot of fun and I FINALLY finished Gracie's baby book and actually started Gwynie's. The picture quality is not great, but here are a few examples of some pages I worked on...

It will be your turn someday...I promise!
Gwynie is such a little trooper!! Every Tuesday we take Gracie to Gymnastics class and Gracie has a BLAST! But poor little Gwynie...she, well, she puts up with it. I try to let you run around as much as possible and I bring her snacks to munch on, but towards the end...she's had enough. She is such a good sport though. She always gets excited for me to point "sissy" out of the group. And if Sissy sees us and waves, well, she just gets the all overs.
I took this picture and I think it captures how Gwynie feels by the end of the class.
I promise Gwynie...I will sign you up as soon as you are old enough!
Here are some recent pictures of Gracie at Gymnastics...I am actually seeing a difference in your flexibility already.
Exciting day...she got to wear a new leotard!

What a Pose!
Gracie came home from preschool with this crown she had made during class. They learned about King David and Mephibosheth. It is very interesting, by the way, to have your 4 year old daughter correct your pronunciation of a Old Testament name...."No Mommy it's MI-PHEB-O-SHETH".
Anyway, she was very proud of the crown and wore it all afternoon and evening until it was time to go to bed. I grabbed the camera and told here that I wanted to take a picture of her awesome crown. She said, "hold on a second" then proceeded to get herself into this very cover girl pose. Where does she come up with this stuff?!?

Great time with Nana & Paw Paw
We had a great time this past weekend when Nana & Paw Paw came to visit. The girls were SUPER excited. While Lance and Paw Paw watched the Tech Game...Gracie, Gwynie, Nana and I made a ice cream cake. I was very yummy...I think Gwynie enjoyed it the most.
The rest of the weekend was filled with playing and visiting. Nana & Paw Paw watched the girls Saturday night so Lance and I could go to a movie (THANKS MOM & DAD!!!). Then they went to church with us, which the girls again loved. It was a very nice, relaxing weekend.
Thanks for everything Nana & Paw Paw!! We love you!!!

Gracie's 1st Day of Pre-K
Well...Gracie started her first day of preschool today. She was SUPER excited. She had a ton of fun packing up her lunch last night. She has been talking about what she was going to bring for days. The final decision...bologna & cheese sandwich (no crust), chips, peaches and a pudding cup.
I didn't have any trouble at all dropping her off, she was just too excited to realize that she was going to be there for several hours. She was most nervous about chapel. I'm not sure why...I think mainly because it is in the "big church". I think after a couple of times she will come to really enjoy chapel.
Gwynie and I felt pretty weird when we got home and it was just us. I know I missed Gracie and I think Gwynie really did too. I know she will be very excited to go pick her up in a couple of hours.
Here are some pictures of her first day...enjoy!
