Celebrating Christmas at Nana's & Paw Paw's

After we left the Ranch we spent a couple of days with Nana & Paw Paw in Austin and had a WONDERFUL time!!! We got to see Uncle Mike, Uncle Alvin & Aunt Laura, Uncle Tony & Aunt Kathy and Nathan too which was very fun! We just spent the weekend talking and playing with the kiddos. Nana made all kinds of yummy goodies. We exchanged gifts too and we all loved what we were given. The girls made out like a couple of bandits!

We did take a family picture with everyone. I will post that as soon as I get it from Paw Paw!

Thanks again for everything Nana & Paw Paw...we had a GREAT time! We love you!!!

Christmas at The Ranch

We drove down to visit Aunt Sue, Uncle Jack and Jackie at the Ranch on Friday. They had it all decorated for Christmas!!! The girls really enjoyed seeing all the neat things that Aunt Sue, Uncle Jack, Nana & Paw Paw had put together.

Thanks for having us, we had a great time!! We Love you!!!

A Christmas to Remember!!

Wow...I still can't believe that Christmas is already over. With everything that was going on this year it just flew by! We were blessed to have an amazing time together as a family in our new home. Here is a slide show of some of our pictures, I hope you enjoy them...

This weekend we are off the visit Nana & Paw Paw in Austin with a quick stop in at the Jumping "J" to say hi to Aunt Sue & Uncle Jack. Then we will be home for New Years. Then it's off to Amarillo to visit with the family there. Like I said we had a wonderful Christmas at home, but it will be nice to go back home to each of our families...we really missed seeing everyone this year!!

In Our New Home For the Holidays!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

What a wonderful Christmas is was. We spent it in our new home and LOVED every minute of it. Today is the first day that our DSL is up and running, so sorry for the lack of new posts. I have a ton of pictures that I need to post, but where's the time? Being in the new house has been amazing, but it comes with a lot of UNPACKING!!! We are almost done, just a couple more rooms. I plan to post all of the Christmas pictures tonight after we get the girls in bed. Kathy has already lapped me like four times, so I gotta catch up! I hope you all had a blessed Christmas and thank you again for all the prayers and support you gave our family over the last few months. We are surrounded with so many wonderful people...our cup runeth over!!! God Bless!!

We got our tree up and decorated just in the nick of time!!

Tomorrow is the Big Day!!!!

We are closing on our new house TOMORROW!!!! We had our walk-thru yesterday which was very exciting. The house was all cleaned up and it was neat to see it looking like a home...OUR HOME!!! It truly is a blessing from God that every thing has worked out the way it has. I hope to take some pictures tomorrow that I can post. Thank you for all your prayers over the last couple of months. They were very welcomed and they worked. We are going to be in our new house before Christmas which was exactly what we wanted...YEAH GOD!!!!

On to Kathy & Tony's...

Last night was our second night to stay here at Kathy & Tony's. We left Scott & Tamie's house (Thanks again Stedman Family) Saturday morning and headed over here. Gracie and Gwynie were VERY excited to see Nathan. I kept telling Gracie that there was "X" many days until out new house is finished to which she would reply, "But, we have to stay at Nathan's house first". So now that we are here she is at peace with the fact that we will be in our new house soon.

I drove Gracie into school this morning...YIKES!! I wouldn't recommend moving to Wylie if you want your kids to go to school in Frisco. Really, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It only took 45 minutes.

Well, we have our first walk-thru on the new house tomorrow and it appears everything is on track to close on Thursday!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you Stedman Family!!!

We still have 3 nights left here at the Stedman home, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Scott & Tamie!!! The last few days have gone by so fast. The girls have had such a great time with Lauren, Conner & Garrett. I think Gwynie got a kick out of being able to play with a baby that was actually younger than she is. Not smaller than she is, but younger. ;)
Here are some pics of the kiddos...

Between Homes!

Well, it's official...we are between homes. I don't want to say "homeless" because I think that word is reserved for those who are dealing with quite a different set circumstance than we are. We closed on Red Hawk Drive last Thursday and the new owners are already moved in there. We have been staying with our friends Scott & Tamie now for 1 week. Our last day here is Thursday night, then we will start bunking with Kathy & Tony. We are so blessed to have such gracious family & friends who have been willing to open up their homes to our entire family.

Everything is going great on our new house so far. They stained the floors last week and we should be getting carpet in this week!! So far all seems to be on schedule for us to close on the new house on the 21st. Praise God!!

I just wanted to post a note to let everyone know that we are doing well. Also, we love getting all the Christmas cards from everyone! Look for ours to be in your mailbox soon!

Take Care & Merry Christmas!!!
