Gwynie's Dance Class

Since Gwynie isn't quite old enough for swim lessons yet, we decided to sign her up for dance class. The class was a six week long session...not too long, not too short. She was by far the youngest one in her class. From talking with the other mom's I gathered that most of the girls were about to turn 5 and Gwynie is just about to turn 3. So needless to say Gwynie's attention span wasn't quite the same as the other girls. However, she had a great time & we will put her in dance again, but I think we will wait another year.

Here are some pictures. The glass that the parents stand behind is safety glass which has a visible wire mess in it. Because of the mesh I wasn't able to use my flash so the pictures are a bit yellow. I need to do some research on how to take better pictures in that situation.

During each class they got to do a "solo". This was my favorite party of the class and I think it was Gwynie's favorite too!

Gwynie had great focus for the 1st half of the class which was the ballet portion. After they put their tap shoes on...well, Gwynie was it her own little world.

It was a fun 6 weeks to watch Gwynie get to do HER own special class! Like I said, we will try dance again, but first she is going to be taking her first swimming lessons this summer...can't
